Why I Write

I write because investing, to me, is not only a search for returns. It is a way of studying how the world changes, how people make decisions, and how truth slowly becomes visible through systems.

I created Zerion Research to give that process a name and a structure. The work begins with capital, but it does not end there. Markets reflect technology, regulation, incentives, culture, fear, ambition, memory, and belief. To study markets seriously is to study the forces that shape a life.

Zerion comes from a movement I keep returning to: from zero toward truth. Not truth as a slogan, but truth approached through clearer thinking, disciplined action, aesthetic judgment, and honest self-examination.

Daniel is the writer. Zerion Research is the method: a framework for finding alignment between capital, conviction, and the direction of change.

Why Zerion Exists

Zerion Research is my central investment research framework. It is built for identifying asymmetric opportunities arising from technological disruption, structural economic change, and long-duration shifts in productivity.

The premise is simple: instead of forcing a view onto the market, I try to identify powerful forces already in motion and understand where value may migrate as those forces compound.

Why Writing Matters

Writing forces vague intuition to become accountable. It slows thought down enough to reveal where an idea is strong, where it is borrowed, and where it is pretending to be clearer than it really is.

My aim is not to sound certain about everything. It is to think carefully, revise honestly, and leave behind writing that helps another person see money, technology, identity, responsibility, and meaning with a little more structure and a little more courage.
